Fee for Service
Billing
We are an accredited Alberta Health Services H-Link Submitter. We run licensed Accuro (R) billing software with the capacity to manage your claims from start to finish.
Based on information provided by you on your own daysheets or our own convenient templated billing sheets, we:

Verify all health service codes and diagnostic codes for accuracy and possible conflicts

Assess for all applicable modifiers (date, time, complexity and code-specific add-ons)

Initiate claims & submit through H-Link to Alberta Health Services in conjunction with weekly submission deadlines

Retrieve electronic assessment files from Alberta Health Services

Reconcile all claims

Re-submit & re-reconcile as required
We attend to each claim until we are satisfied that every action has been taken to ensure the maximum payment eligible. If necessary, we consult with Alberta Health Services Claims Branch to ensure accurate payment success.

with Remote Access
If keeping your billing in-house is more compatible with your needs, with secure remote log-in access to your in-house EMR software, we manage your claim submissions and reconciliations remotely.

Academic Alternative Relationship Plan (ARP)/Shadow Billing
For physicians involved in an ARP, we verify the "who, what, where, when & why" data requirements that must be included on all claims submitted to AHS. We assume the same level of responsibility for claim submission, reconciliation and re-submission that we do for our fee-for-service providers, to ensure that your shadow billing reports are a complete and accurate representation of the services you have provided.
